    Description

With the show “Batman” being greenlighted for production, William Dozier now needed to find the actors to play the caped crusaders. When the screen test was over, Adam West and Burt Ward won the roles. But, in November of 1965, both actors Lyle Waggoner (Batman) and Peter Deyell (Robin) tried out for the role.
    On January 26
    th
, 2017, the professional staff of MEARS met with Robin actor Peter Deyell for a very special private signing. Offered for this lot is a limited edition card featuring Pete Deyell dressed in the Robin costume as he auditioned for the role. Although not the star, we will forever be linked to the 1966 Batman TV series.
The card was signed in near mint blue sharpie and has been professional authenticated and slabbed by PSA/DNA.
