    VINTAGE IRON AGE BURA CULTURE HAND-FORGED POINT

    This interesting piece of African history is 6.75" overall and is in very good condition with a nice coating of rust, twisted barrel and minor damage to the barbs. It is from the Bura Culture of the Niger River Valley and is estimated to be 800 to 1,000 years old. The ancient Bura Civilization was first excavated in 1975 and so is still being studied for better understanding.
