    Description

    It was instituted 23.8.1945 by the Slovak National Board-Parliament for persons who took part in resistance against the nazi, prepared the resistance and the uprising, acted in the uprising as commanders or fought armed, fall in the fight or for whom had his life in danger. The Presidium of the SNB instituted the order in 23.08.1945. The President himself gave this order in person to the honoured ones.
