  • Condition: Crafted by a Tribal Black Smith with hammer marks and forging scale visible. The hide scabbard cover is dry with age and there is a few very minor areas of surface rust. The Wrapped belt is very dry with age.

    Description

    The work of a tribal village black smith is visible in this knife. The hand forged, steel blade shows the hammer and the surface retains most of the forging scale. The sharp areas of the blade are on the inside of the curve and on the outside of the curve with the pointed tip for thrusting.
    The scabbard is wood wrapped in cured hide and stitched up the back with wire. The hide carrying belt is wrapped at the top and is finished with a steel trade buckle. The belt is very dry.
    The well shaped hilt is hard wood, decorated with four tacks on the facing side and a brass cone at the pommel.
