I really don't know a lot about this kind of thing !!, With that said I have some very interesting items I have acquired,, with very good provenance.
The items were brought back after the Philippine war by Tom Dwyer, an American soldier . He said in Democrat newspaper on June 12, 1914
he had no where to store these items . So he sold them to Mr. J. P. Simons ,former editor of the Democrat.
Here is a nice solid  Moro Kris sword, no sheath or scabbard with this one.

Handle 4 1/2"
