NEW-BEST BRAND-7-PIN 606 CORE & 3 TI-LOGO STANDARD KEY BLANKS-READY TO COMBINATE

Description

Here is a Set of Blanks , to be Cut to fit this Core , after it's been Keyed Up , to fit a Texas Instruments Logo Padlock .
As you can see from the box , the keys were made a good while ago , about 50 years  .
The "E" Keyway was used in Dallas - No Longer In Use .
This was the Key that TI used 50 years ago . Most padlocks were used by the Facilities Dept. that ran the Painters , Plumbers , Electricians , and such. They used Tool Carts that were Designed and Built by TI , each cart having about 5 padlocks , keyed alike , then Master Keyed .
There were only 2 Buildings that used Best on the Building's Doors ( back then )  , the Semiconductor Building ( 1/4 Mile Long ) , and the Materials Building ( where the Silicon Wafers were made )  . Now All Buildings in the Dallas Area use Small Format Interchangeable Cores ( but NOT Best ) .
