NOTES
Zulu knives were around 8 to 12 inches long and the design of the Zulu knife and sheath changed between circa 1820 and 1920. The Rangi tribe of Central Tanzania which consists of several related tribes including the Chagga or Chaga people made weapons EXACTLY like this one with copper wire. They also included a rounded end on the sheath which was used as a club and made the wood out of ebony which is the wood on your objects. This is a superb example.
