    RARE Vintage 40s WW II Souvenir U.S. Army 5th Air Force Silk Scarf likely for purchase by soldier as a gift for their loved one back home.
    17” x 44” inches
    It’s in surprisingly good condition for its age and considering how fine the silk is! It was probably loved and cared for well. There are a few tiny pinholes in a couple of places and some light stains. (See close ups)
    All wording and the patch are embroidered with silk thread. Says: Nagoya, Japan in purple thread.
    Such a gorgeous and unusual piece!
