    This is a wool crusher cap/hat from the post world war 2 / WW2 era with an enlisted man's eagle badge and the intact chin strap and visor are brown leather,no cracks,not brittle or dried out. Hat has the shape band that is easily removed to stow away quickly. The wool cap has no insect damage,stains,odors,rips or loose stitching. Tag in the hat is dated 1948.Head band is intact,unstained and not brittle. This hat was well cared for and properly stored. From a clean smoke free home.
