No key. AB-1 on bottom. In nice condition for it's age.
We are not collectors so please see pics for details. We do the best we can to identify the locks we sell, both doing research and referring to a master list left by our family member that collected these. That said, the buyer is requested to do their own due diligence. If we make mistakes we are always happy to be corrected.
(You absolutely do not have to take the time to read these faqs but if you don’t then please also don’t expect us to take the time to answer your email if it pertains to any of these.)

SHIPPING
: please note shipping is a standard
10 BUSINESS DAYS
. Due to changes in the eBay marketplace, in most cases (not all) it will now most likely be a minimum of three to four business days before we ship (10 days is fairly rare but sometimes necessary). In most cases now we will have not even received funds from the sale before that time, especially if it occurs over a weekend or holiday. We also ship everything through eBay so you should automatically be notified when an item ships so please try not to email us asking when an item will ship or if it has, it just slows us down. We do not offer rush shipping. We do not offer combined shipping normally but will consider it upon request, it depends a lot of the time on what is being combined. Please note shipping is not just a shipping charge but a
packaging charge
as well and we put a lot of time & money into both.
Note: any emails “advising” us how we should ship, pack, or what we should be charging for shipping will be ignored. If what we have and how we offer it doesn’t suit you that’s ok.
Special shipping requests: We charge a flat shipping fee and so reserve the right to use whatever shipping method/company is most suitable. We are usually happy to meet any shipping needs however any special requirements for shipping by the buyer need to be inquired about beforehand, not after the bidding has finished. We will consider but will not be bound by such requests otherwise. If shipping to a PO box is required, we will in all likelihood use USPS.

OFFERS
: Most of the time we allow offers and take all into consideration but due to what is sometimes a very large volume of them
we will only respond if we are interested
so please don't be offended if we don't respond either way, or even right away for that matter. Too often declined offers are also treated as an invitation to send yet another slightly increased offer and an attempt to engage us in private bidding and we simply don't have the time for that, it’s why we’re here. Here's a hint too:
make an offer good enough that it will tempt us to want to forgo the bidding process and what is a fair majority of the time often a much higher selling price
. Also, if you email us for our “best price” you’re wasting your time and ours. We have absolutely no reason to supply this figure but if we ever were to we would certainly offer it to a host of valued previous buyers before anyone else.
Last minute/expired listing offers: If you send us an offer after a listing has expired, we will ignore it. If you make an offer at or near the very end of a listing, we will ignore it. We not only are not monitoring our listings that closely but to us this is also akin to a car salesman telling you an offer is only good for the next ten minutes and borderline unsavory. We also get emails all the time saying they missed the bidding but oddly enough still never bid even after it has been re-listed because what they are really looking for 90% of the time (and it’s obvious btw) is to try to secure an item for themselves (and usually for cheap) after the listing has ended and in a private side deal because 90% of the time these emails are also then quickly followed up by an “I’ll give you X for it.” email. Bid or offer on it while it is listed or don’t.
