Vtg Late 40's to Early 50's USN Issue DARK NAVY BLUE 8 Button PEACOAT w/ CORDUROY POCKETS Size 34R. Condition is Pre-owned.
Very Nice vintage 40's-50's NAVAL CLOTHING FACTORY US Navy Issue 100% Heavy Wool 8 button dark navy blue pea coat! The coat is in great vintage condition for it's age, but has some minor damage so please keep reading. The coat can be worn as is, but just recommend a nice dry cleaning before use as it has been stored away for a good while. The coat has one broken anchor button(see pics) and also has some wear holes tears(see pics) scattered on the interior satin lining, but very common on these older coats so not a major deal in my opinion. The button slits on the front closure have some wear and fraying on them, but still work okay so not a major deal in my opinion The coat has 2 CORDUROY LINED exterior hand warmer pockets and also 2 interior pockets for extra stowing. The interior lining of the coat has some nice stencil lettering from the previous owner. NO Holes, tears, or rips found on the exterior wool shell of the coat. LOVE the classic design with 6 button double breasted front and 2 collar buttons, corduroy lining in the side pockets, single vent in back and fully lined with two inside pockets. Very heavy duty wool coat! These older coats are a very dark blue and almost look black.
These coats are super warm, very stylish, and never go out of style. Looks great with a pair of jeans.
