Airport personnel will require new aviation security identification (AvSecID) as all previously issued passes will be invalidated by November 30.
All concerned personnel were advised to complete the steps necessary for enlistment and issuance of AvSecID before the suspension date for access to terminal controlled areas and airside of Dhaka airport, said Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh in a circular yesterday.
This initiative was taken to enhance security procedures and ensure compliance with international standards, as per the circular.
